It appears that, in this hectic life we are all living in, poetry no longer has a place. Yet, to quote the poet, WH Davies, “What life is this if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare?' And what better way for us to reflect on the varied beauty and wonders of the world around us, even if we can no longer get out amongst it, than living it through the words of the poets?”

We are a small friendly group that read out poems on a selected subject, either from books or the internet. It is good to hear old familiar poems again, also new ones.
